  1. Cayenne pepper: scientists were able to find a connection between the spice of the cayenne pepper and melting away fat. According to a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition there is a compound found in pepper (capsaicin) which helps speed up the abdominal fat loss by boosting the body’s ability to convert food into energy and acts as a natural appetite suppressant. One way that I like to incorporate cayenne pepper is to cook with it. I don’t use whole a lot but I have substituted cayenne pepper for the red chili powder.
  2. Grapefruit: This fruit is rich in phytochemicals and bioactive compounds that recent research has shown stimulates the adiponectin hormone which is involved in the breakdown of body fat.
